Our partners and associates have core competencies across layers of information and communications technology.
Ross is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with a business qualification from Victoria University. Ross is an experienced senior manager with over 25 years in the Information, Communications and Telecommunications field. Ross took over the Owner/Director role of Voyedge in April 2011 from the founders Jeffrey and Nigel.
Ross is currently project managing a global ERP implementation for the Icebreaker Merino apparel company.
Previously Ross was employed by BP Oil New Zealand and BP International and since 1995 held international and global leadership roles of both an operational and project nature. Ross returned to New Zealand in 2004 after seven years working in the UK managing global projects and service delivery. He also held the position of General Manager of Operations for Enterprise and Government at TelstraClear for three years.
Jeffrey was the founder and principal of Coleman & Associates and having worked in the ICT industry, both in NZ and the UK, since graduating in 1985 with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Jeffrey sadly died in March 2011 after a brave battle with Motor Neuron disease – a challenge he faced with great dignity, courage and fortitude, and in his typical pragmatic way, he never relinquished his sense of humour and absolute zest for life.
Jeffrey had a huge passion for project management and ICT. He built a wide network of clients, colleagues and associates not just limited to Nelson/Marlborough. He was associated with at east 100 projects for more than 30 clients in both the region and further afield across both islands. Some of his clients included the Nelson Marlborough Health Board, Weyerhaeuser and several other forestry companies, Sealord, Tasman Energy, the two local City councils, Air Nelson, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, and many other small and medium sized businesses.
Jeffrey’s passing leaves a big hole in the local PM and Voyedge community. He is survived by his wife Sandy and their children Oliver, Hugo and Elsie.
