Tom Wheatley

Tom joined Voyedge in 2008 and bolsters Voyedge’s existing capability through his expertise in Project Management, Project Office and Business Process Re-engineering. Notably Tom holds the internationally recognised PRINCE2 project management methodology qualification (Practitioner status) that has its roots in the UK and is complementary to the framework of the North American headquartered Project Management Institute. In addition Tom holds several programme office and software package qualifications and is a Masters of Engineering (Electronic). Tom has worked in various sectors in the UK including financial/banking and retail; he worked for a management consultancy in the UK, providing services to major Blue Chip companies in the UK and Europe. Tom prides himself in his ability to break down complex business issues into understandable and pragmatic solutions that benefit the organisation and in turn, their customers. He has worked in the information and communication technology industry for 8 years and in financial markets for an additional 3 years.
Tom is positioned to lead the growth of project management services (including mentoring) in the practice; Voyedge is pleased to be able to offer the blend of skills and experience that Tom embodies: traditional engineering/problem solving, contemporary project management process, financial acumen.

Andrew Dean
Andrew is a highly experienced Information Systems Manager with strong business, leadership, technology and project management skills. He possesses enviable industry experience in manufacturing, fishing, seafood processing, marketing, airline operations and wholesale tourism with comprehensive general knowledge of transaction processing, financial applications and the delivery of information for business decision making. He values strong relationships and has a special interest in ensuring that ongoing business value is derived from operational assets.
Andrew joined the Voyedge team in 2009 with a mandate to manage client projects that combine people, physical assets and technology solutions to drive business improvement. He excels in the provision of in-depth, practical advice reflecting IT strategy, IT management, technology sourcing and IT service delivery based on a deep understanding of business drivers and priorities. Nigel Young
Nigel is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Nigel has 20 years experience of leading and managing engineering and IT projects across a range of industries and organisations including electronics, oil refining, defence, airline, insurance, telecommunications and health in New Zealand, South Africa and the UK. Nigel has additional specialist skills in Business Analysis, Systems and Process Design and Software Development. He is skilled in building good working relationships and has the ability to interact with people across a wide spectrum of skill and business levels. Nigel is a Director of Voyedge and is providing project management training services throughout Asia, from Beijing, 2006-2010.

Ross Ellison
Ross is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with a business qualification from Victoria University. Ross is an experienced senior manager with over 25 years in the Information, Communications and Telecommunications field. Ross is a Director of Voyedge and is currently working for a national telecommunications company. Previously Ross was employed by BP Oil New Zealand and BP International and since 1995 held international and global leadership roles of both an operational and project nature. Ross returned to New Zealand in 2004 after seven years working in the UK managing global projects and service delivery.

Jeffrey Coleman
Jeffrey is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and was recognised by PMINZ in 2004 for services to the profession, being bestowed the “Fellowship” status. Jeffrey was the founder and principal of Coleman & Associates and has worked in the ICT industry, both in NZ and the UK, since graduating in 1985 with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Jeffrey's passion for projects stems from his belief that planning does make the difference and that the life of a successful project lies in the clear identification of both the business needs driving the project and the definition of the scope.
A key technique used by Jeffrey is what he calls "visualising the project outcome" and is an aspect of the project "kick-off" meeting facilitated by Voyedge. Jeffrey remains a Director of Voyedge, having stepped down from active consulting in 2008. You can email Jeffrey at:
